I don't think there is anyway around it. All this reflecting, looking back through our travel journal and our photos...it has made me homesick for China, homesick for Kunming, and despite all the peaks and valleys - it makes me long for those first hours and days with Ella.
Last year at this time, Larry and I, the two-some, were taking in the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of Kunming - Xiulan our trusty sidekick leading us. (I do miss her.)
One year later, we are celebrating The Year of the Rabbit with our FCC Family (of course, KatieRoz included)...
...finding air vents to stand on...
...and building stuff!
